I love reusing things when I can and this wooden flag is a great example of that. I came across these trim pieces and knew I could use them for something? This is what I came up. I cut and painted all the stripes red and white and attached them to a flat piece of reclaimed plywood. The stars are wooden cut outs that I purchased and painted white and they appear on a blue painted background.
The flag measures 10 1/8 inches wide by 7 1/4 inches tall by 3/4 inches thick. I installed mounting hooks on the back for easy hanging or just lean it where you want it.
It would also make a great gift.
