This display stand is a little different from my other stands as it it 2 pieces of wood stacked. It will hold fused glass or stained glass and anything else that will fit in the slot.
The lower portion of this stand from a 1960's home we remodeled. You could tell that this molding had been shaped on site as it still has evidence of the saw marks. I loved the "scoop" look of it o I paired it with a spruce top piece that was stained slightly lighter for an interesting stacked effect. I stained the top piece with a medium brown stain, the lower piece is stained with a dark brown finish and both have a low sheen polyurethane sealer.
It measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches deep and 2 1/4 inches tall. The slot that holds the art is slightly bigger than 1/4 inches wide. (that's 3 nickels) Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
