I love camping but haven't been able to go lately, I guess it shows in this piece. It features a tent, a campfire and 3 fireflies in stained glass mosaics. There are 3 clear half marbles over painted fireflies. The grout is white and has been sealed with a clear water proffer. It is on a wood base and has an attached wood frame. I have painted the frame white and attached a sawtooth hanger to the back for easy hanging. (It could just lean too or sit on an easel if you like)
It measures 10 3/4 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall and is about 1 inch thick. I made it with stained glass in shades of green, blue, red, orange, yellow, brown and white opaque glass hand cut and glued into place.
Almost all glass mosaics have sharp edges. Please be careful when handling!
