This is a display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from salvaged/reclaimed oak wood from a old house. Like a lot of my other stands it had some very interesting markings which I try to leave when I can. This piece of wood had some holes which I have left unfilled.
It measures 5 wide by 1 7/8 deep and 1 1/2 tall. This one will fit my window sill. The slot that holds the art is about 3/16th wide. (that's 3 quarters super tight) Some foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
I stained it with a light finish and a low sheen polyurethane.
These fit on some window sills and will hold thin metal signs too.
