This is a display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from very dense salvaged/reclaimed heart pine wood. This piece of wood had some holes which I have left.
It measures 6 3/4 wide by 2 1/4 deep. This stand has a slight 1/8th of an inch slope to it which I left, the height is 1 5/8 inches in front and 1 3/4 in back.
The slot that holds the art is about 3/16th of an inch wide. (that's 3 pennies loose) Most foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
I added a dark stain and sealed it with a low sheen polyurethane.
