This is a small display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from salvaged/reclaimed wood I picked up at my local salvage place. I am not sure what type of wood it is but it had such interesting grain lines and some of the original rough sawn look on one side which I have left. (see pics) If you want a different look flip it around and it has a completely different look.
It measures 5 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches deep and 1 3/4 inches tall. The slot that holds the art is 3/16th wide. (that's 3 pennies) Some foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
I stained it with a natural finish and a low sheen polyurethane.
