This smaller version of my round porthole view suncatcher measures 6 inches wide and tall but with the black chain it measures 9 1/4 inches tall. It is made with a mix of different shades and textures of blue and teal glass. Some pieces are translucent and some are more opaque some are also textured. Each piece of glass has been hand cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. I wrapped the outside edges with a lead came for added strength and finished it with a black patina. It is ready to ship and would make a great gift.
I often take my pictures outside (because the light is better) but my pieces are designed to be used inside.
