This is a stained glass Autumn tree tea light candle display. The stained glass tree measures 9 3/8 inches tall by 6 3/8 inches wide. It is made with several shades of green and pale blue opaque glass. Each piece is hand cut and ground smooth prior to applying lead came along all edges before soldering it all together.
I have paired it with a stand I made from reclaimed oak wood stand from an old house we remolded. This stand measures 5 3/8 inches by 3 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches thick. I have notched the wood so that the glass tree slides right in. I stained the wood with a natural stain and applied a low sheen polyurethane. I made a place for a tea light candle at the back and I am also including a glass tea light holder and a battery operated tea light.
It would also make a great gift.
PLEASE NEVER LEAVE A LIT CANDLE UNATTENDED.
