Let this little snow capped mountain artwork will remind you of that mountain vacation you loved so much.
I found this black stand at a local thrift shop and knew it would be great for this mountains design. I used several shades of opaque streaky glass and a bit of white opaque glass for the snow on top of the peaks. Each piece has been hand cut and ground smooth prior to the application of copper foil to all edges and soldering it all together. I finished it off with a black patina.
It measures 6 inches tall by 8 3/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep.
