This is a display stand would be great for something more abstract as it is rather oddly shaped. It works for all kinds of art, flat canvas panels, signs, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from salvaged/reclaimed cedar I picked up at my local salvage place. It has a bit of live edge under bark on both sides. There are also some hairline cracks that don't affect the function I wanted to leave this color and the graying of the wood just as it is so I did not add a stain but only a low sheen polyurethane.
It measures 5 inches wide by 6 3/4 deep inches and 1 1/4 inches tall. The slot that holds the art is about 3/16 inches wide. (that's 3 quarters loose). Some foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
