This sweet little seagull was so much fun to make. I made the bird with a grey, charcoal and white opal glass. I hand cut each piece then ground them smooth, applied and burnished copper foil to all edges and soldered all edges. I added wire legs and 2 black matte rhinestone eyes and finished it with a black patina then I attached the bird through a hole I drilled in this seashell. The total height measures 5 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches deep.
It would also make a great gift.
