This is a small double sided display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from salvaged/reclaimed cedar I picked up at my local salvage place. It is but it had such interesting grain lines and some worm trails which I have left. (see pics) If you want a different look flip it over and it has a completely different look.
It measures 5 inches wide by 5 inches deep and 1 1/4 inches tall. The slot that holds the art is about 3/16th wide. (that's 3 pennies) flip it over and the slot is a bit more than 3/16 wide (that's 4 pennies) . Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
I wanted to leave this wonderful color just as it is so I did not add a stain but only a low sheen polyurethane. Some foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not.
The video shows several similar stands but not this one.
